ORIENTATION AND STAFF INTRODUCTIONS!

Sunday evening, 7PM, June 6th at the Outpost, 210 Yale SE (2 blocks south of Central)

Please plan on attending ZoukFest orientation on Sunday evening, June 6th 7pm at The Outpost. It’s the absolute best way to get the most out of your ZoukFest experience! The evening will begin with a short orientation followed by the introduction of the staff at 8pm. Orientation will include details about all the week’s activities including session locations! This event is open to the public so if your friends are curious about ZoukFest, invite them to come!

Basic Things You Need to Know!

• Classes are Monday-Friday with the same schedule each day, i.e. you will have the same classes each day for the entire week. (The ZoukFest 2010 Daily Class Schedule is here, and you can now sign up for classes on the registration form.)

• Tuition includes classes Mon-Fri as well as all evening events except the Friday and Saturday night concerts. We are pleased to be able to offer 1/2 price concert tickets to all full-time ZoukFest attendees (available at the camp only).

• Remember, class sign-up is now available on the registration form. If you registered early, we will contact you to make sure you are signed up for your favorite classes!

• Cancellations: Prior to May 1st, lodging and tuition costs will be refunded less a $100 processing fee. After May 1st, no refunds will be granted.

On-Campus Lodging

• Lodging nights are Sunday June 6th through Friday June 11th. There is an additional concert on Saturday night, June 12th so some attendees may wish to keep their rooms Saturday night for only $40 (See registration form).

The May 1st deadline for reserving dorm lodging has passed. However, some rooms may be available at UNM’s discretion. If you still need lodging, please email Lisa Wright directly to inquire!

• Each UNM dorm room is a private room with a single bed. Four of these rooms share a small living space and bathroom. Linens are provided. Wifi and Ethernet cables are provided at no charge. For more information on these rooms, please click here.

What About Meals?

Dorm lodging includes breakfast each morning at La Posada (UNM’s dining hall).

• We strongly encourage all full time attendees to sign up for the La Posada lunch plan for just an additional $45. It’s an easy walk from the classrooms. The food is very good and sharing meals with other attendees greatly enhances the ZoukFest experience!

• Attendees are on their own for dinner each evening. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of UNM.
